The Constitution Of Manatee Island

1. Amendments to any Government Document can be made at the request of the people with a majority vote from the people.
2. The people have the right to peacefully assemble without Government interference.
3. In states of emergency, such as war or financial crisis and other crisis deemed emergencies by the Government party, the Government has all rights to override any amendment, law, or "rule" stated in any Government document.
4. There shall be no obscene, inappropriate, racist, sexist, or for lack of better words, dumb, laws created.
5. Presidents will be elected at the demand of the people, with a majority rule. Presidents can be impeached at the demand of the people, with a majority rule. Presidents must be older then the age of 20.
6. Laws will be established by founding committees. These committees will meet once a month and establish colony wide laws. These laws will be passed to the President. The President then may veto the law or pass it. If the law is passed, it goes into effect the immediate day after. If vetoed, the law goes back to the founding committee. The law can be revised or destroyed. The law may only be reviewed by the President three times. After the third, it must be destroyed.
7. The punishment must fit the crime.
8. Any further adjustments to this Constitution will be documented under the category "Amendment" and will be ordered numerically. i.e Amendment I, Amendment II and so on.
